FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM IN PETROL ENGINE. . . When bs6 technology came into era the Indian bikes(petrol fuelled) are replaced by throttle bodies and electronically controlled fuel injection systems in place of the normal carburettors. This fuel injection systems are already used in some highly specificated bikes and normally in all petrol engine cars. . . MAIN POINTS TO CHANGE FROM CARBURETTORS. . . The carburettors takes fuel according to the volume of air and not according to the temperature of the air. The temperature change in air changes its volume, density and also affects the presence of oxygen in the air. That is when the temperature of the air increases the air becomes thin and thick when temperature decreases, the density of air also decreases with increase in altitude.
